McKnight Crossings Church lead minister, Andrew Owens, brings us a sermon focused on the consequences of loneliness and being without a group of friends. Andrew draws our attention to how we are mentally programmed to be in community with others, and how a community can cover any weaknesses of an individual member with the strengths found in the diversity of other members’ differences and unique characteristics. We are challenged to remember that the example of Jesus Christ is how our community bonds and to find ways to strengthen those bonds and support one another in community.
