Welcome to MXteens!
A ministry for 6-12th graders & their families
At MXteens, our deepest desire is to introduce teenagers to the real, unfiltered Jesus Christ and create the kind of environment where they have every opportunity to pursue him and be pursued by him. By the time students graduate high school, we hope their relationship with Jesus has become deeply personal, meaningful and transformational. This happens when we focus on three core ideas: Worship, Community, and Service.
To the teens...
No matter who you are, where you’ve come from or what you’ve done - we hope you know that you can have a family in us. We are a group of imperfect people who have been saved and unified by a perfect God. Regardless of your race, social status, interests, GPA, etc. we want you to know that you have a home here. We believe that we are heavily influenced by the people we surround ourselves with - which is why we strive to create the kind of community that mirrors Jesus’ character.
Let’s learn more about Jesus together!
To the parents and guardians...
We’re rooting for you. At MXteens, we want the same thing you do...for your student to grow in their relationship with God. We know that raising a teenager has its challenges, so we promise to do our best to provide the resources and support that you, as a parent, need in order to be successful in your home.

Meet the Minister
NextGen Youth Minister
Michalie is the NextGen Youth Minister here at McKnight Crossings where she serves 6-12th grade students and their families. She grew up in Saint Louis, attended Lafayette Church of Christ and first became acquainted with McKnight through area-wide teen events.
After earning her degree in Public Relations from Harding University in 2017, she stuck around Harding and worked for University Communications & Admissions for a little over a year before she began to feel a call towards ministry. When the opportunity to pursue ministry at MX came up, she knew right away that God was calling her here. Michalie joined our team at MX in April of 2019. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, finding new coffee shops with good friends, opening her home to others and reading good books! You can reach Michalie at 314-962-7026.
