Fuzzy on what happened at the end of Israel’s story? Most of us are familiar with the first part of the Bible to the period of the kings or so, and then with the New Testament. But what happened in-between? Ezra and Nehemiah tell the story of the partial fulfillment of prophecy, deeply devoted leaders, ambitious rebuilding projects, and a sobering mixed bag of results, as no project is complete apart from Jesus.
